Our Roots
Lively Up Your Yard originated when our founder received HOA letters about their front yard, violating rules without clear guidance on compliance.
Resolving the issue led to a newfound passion for landscape design. Seeking an active hobby after life changes, our founder, committed to protecting pets and wildlife, refuses the use of dangerous chemicals and verifies the safety of plants.
Inspired to enhance neighborhood gardens, Lively Up Your Yard was born, dedicated to eco-friendly and pet-conscious landscaping.
What Sets Us Apart
We focus primarily on low maintenance and/or low water gardens – but that doesn’t have to mean they’re boring or uninspired!
Our style is definitely flower-forward! Low maintenance and low water use definitely don’t mean boring. We love to design and build visually engaging spaces where people want to spend time.
At Lively Up Your Yard, we give our clients the education, tools, and skills they need to have their dream garden. We teach them everything from how to prepare soil and build DIY planter boxes and cold frames to referrals to services like box builders, etc.
